Isaiah 2:1-5
English Standard Version
The Mountain of the Lord
2 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2 (A)It shall come to pass in the latter days
that (B)the mountain of the house of the Lord
shall be established as the highest of the mountains,
and shall be lifted up above the hills;
and (C)all the nations shall flow to it,
3 and (D)many peoples shall come, and say:
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”
For (E)out of Zion shall go forth the law,[a]
and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 He shall judge between the nations,
and shall decide disputes for many peoples;
(F)and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
(G)nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore.
5 O house of Jacob,
come, let us walk
in (H)the light of the Lord.

Isaiah 25:6-9
English Standard Version
6 (A)On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples
a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine,
(B)of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.
7 And he will swallow up (C)on this mountain
the covering that is cast over all peoples,
(D)the veil that is spread over all nations.
8 (E)He will swallow up death forever;
and (F)the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
and (G)the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
(H)for the Lord has spoken.
9 It will be said on that day,
“Behold, this is our God; (I)we have waited for him, that he might save us.
This is the Lord; we have waited for him;
(J)let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
Matthew 24:6-14
English Standard Version
6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you (A)are not alarmed, for this (B)must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For (C)nation will rise against nation, and (D)kingdom against kingdom, and there will be (E)famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are but the beginning of (F)the birth pains.
9 “Then (G)they will deliver you up (H)to tribulation and (I)put you to death, and (J)you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then many will fall away[a] and (K)betray one another and hate one another. 11 And many (L)false prophets will arise (M)and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, (N)the love of many will grow cold. 13 (O)But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom (P)will be proclaimed throughout the whole world (Q)as a testimony (R)to all nations, and (S)then the end will come.
